Woman admits to multi‑million‑dollar fraud scheme in Berkeley County

According to a press release from the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), 48-year-old Lisa French, of Martinsburg, admitted to conspiring to steal cash payments collected by the sheriff's office and to "manipulate conservatorship and estate accounts overseen by the office."
